It’s CLAIM LINE based in Swansea. They keep ringing up asking for my girlfriend. When I ask what’s it about, they say it’s something to do with PPI. Usually I just hang up but they’re getting more persistent now. I had a missed call so I looked up the number using 1471 as they didn’t leave a message. Turns out it was them again, so I called back and told them I’m on the TPS so they’re not allowed to call me. The bloke on the phone had the cheek to say I’m not registered. I’m gonna check the TPS list and then lodge a complaint. Really fed up with these lot.

I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service but keep getting calls anyway. This morning they rang while I was at the chapel of rest with my mum before her funeral on Friday. I was so upset I called them straight back to tell them off. The woman said sorry about your mum but told me not to shout at her. Then, only 5 minutes later, they called again but this time no one said a thing. Honestly, these people are awful.

I keep getting calls from these lot every single day and when I pick up, they just don't say anything. I've reported them to the ICO now. If anyone else wants to report, just head to their website, choose Report A Concern, then Nuisance Calls and Messaging, and finally Silent or Abandoned Calls. Put in the info and hopefully if lots of us complain, the ICO will shut them down for good by taking their equipment and closing them up.

Claims Line Direct have been ringing me every single day, sometimes more than once, about this mis-sold ppi thing. One bloke said his name was John Rodriguez. I told them to stop calling me and to take my number off their list, especially since they're disturbing my baby’s sleep! They told me I can't be removed from their calls, proper idiots. The person calling refused to admit they’d dialled the wrong number or say sorry. Instead, they tried to argue that they had the right to keep calling me, even though they asked for someone else. Somebody just rang me and when I said the person they wanted wasn’t here, they said ‘stop annoying everyone’ - really rude way to talk. They’re lucky it wasn’t a kid that picked up.

Proper pushy and quite rude. Insists they’re sure you’ve been sold PPI wrongly but when you question them they don’t really seem to know much. They try to get you to hand over all your personal info without even checking if you actually have a claim.

Received a call on my mobile first thing this morning from some outfit calling themselves Claim Line Direct. I made it crystal clear that they should promptly remove my number from their list, and warned that if they dared to disturb me again, I’d be looking into their company and considering legal action for harassment. They apologised and promptly hung up, so I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see what happens next....
