I got a call from someone trying to get me to renew my life insurance, but they didnt even know my name or which firm I was with. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call out the blue, turned out to be one of those sales calls I was totally not interested in.

This Swansea number keeps ringing me up, trying to convince me to hand over cash for stuff like pensions and insurance. When I tell them I can manage my own money and don’t see why I should trust a company I’ve never heard of, they get pretty pushy. It’s a load of rubbish when they claim they don’t earn anything from these calls - if that’s true, why are they always pestering me? I enjoy winding them up a bit, telling them I hope the calls are being recorded. Next, I’m thinking of reporting them to the watchdog. They always give me different company names whenever they ring. Proper dodgy.

Has anyone got a clue about whose number this might be? I've received a couple of calls from this number, but as soon as I pick up, there's complete silence. It's quite baffling!

I've been receiving calls from this number as well, and it seems that every time I pick up, the line goes silent and they hang up. It’s quite frustrating! This has now occurred a couple of times just this week alone.
