Got a robo call claiming there was suspicious activity on my card, trying to sound like it was from my bank. Obviously a scam in the making. I hit the phone's hang-up button straight away. Stayed on the line a bit to make sure the dial tone came back alright. After that, waited a moment more before trashing the call from my phone.
