got a call from a number in swansea, 01792894789, at 10.49 on friday 8th march 2019. the person on the phone had an american accent and told me my ip address had been hacked and my connection would be cut off. they said it would be free of charge and asked me to press 1. i hung up straight away and looked up the number here. turns out loads of folks got the same call and reported it as a scam. glad i didn’t fall for it!

Just got a call from some automated voice with an American accent, telling me my internet was about to get disconnected. Pretty sure it was one of those phone scams.
