A couple of comments down this thread will lay out a clear plan on how to deal with these scams. If all of the many folks in the UK who get these scam calls and messages daily followed those steps, it would push the police and government to take serious action against these crooks. Don’t just wait for someone else to do it - it doesn’t take that long. I’ve bookmarked the ‘Action Fraud’ site and also dropped an email to my MP, got a pretty ‘interesting’ reply too. But it won’t work if it’s just me doing it.
