This number has been ringing me maybe once or twice a month for over a year. Today, I just decided to ignore it. When I did pick up a few times, the people on the other end sounded really sarcastic and said they were from Aviva. Every time, I’d have a quick reply ready to call out their nonsense. They kept saying they were some kind of ombudsman making sure I had a decent life insurance deal. I told them I wasn’t bothered and kept asking for proof about their story.

Got a call from an unknown number earlier, didn't pick up and let it go to voicemail. Then I looked it up here and yep, definitely adding it to my blocked list. Another annoying caller to avoid!

Got a call from some young bloke with a Welsh accent, sounded like he was at a call centre. He said he was ringing from Aviva about updating my life insurance info. There was quite a bit of background noise, so I thought he was trying to sell me something and just said "No thanks, I’ve already got life insurance." He snapped back, all sarcastic, "Yeah, that’s why I’m ringing!" Was a bit taken aback by how rude he sounded but asked "It’s not with you lot though, is it?" There was a pause with more call centre noise, then he just hung up. Felt really sketchy to me!

Got a call from someone saying they were life insurance but even after I said I’m already insured, they kept pushing for my details. Real stubborn trying to squeeze info out of me. I got a call from a number in Swindon saying they were Aviva. They told me I was overpaying for my insurance but it sounded off because they didn’t seem to know the details of my policy or what my current cover was, or how much I actually pay. Aviva’s head office is in Norwich, so it felt really dodgy. Honestly, this feels like something the fraud team ought to be investigating!

Got a call on Bank Holiday from some supposed life insurance company. They wouldn’t even tell me their company name properly. Obviously a scam trying to trick you into giving your bank info or money. Wouldn’t trust them for a second.

I got a call I missed, rang back out of curiousity, and they started chatting about some life insurance deal I supposedly had. I told them I don't, and she just said it was a 'system glitch' or something. Thing is, they already knew my full name and number, which is odd. Pretty sure I'm gonna get bombarded with calls about this now. Sounds like a total scam to me!
