I got a call from someone about renewing my life insurance policy. They obviously had some of my info but it was outdated. When I asked if they could send all the details through email, they were really rude and said everything had to be sorted on the phone. They kept pushing me to say how much I pay each month, but I told them I wasn’t sure. Then they told me to pull up my online banking on my phone right there. I said I was at work and couldn’t, then they just hung up on me. Since then, I’ve been getting calls every day from similar numbers but slightly different each time.

yeah, on the phone the line was crackly and there was loads of static in the background which made it really hard to catch what the person was saying. they claimed to be FCA regulated and that they get info from well-known insurers like aegon and standard life to offer the best deals. complete rubbish though. no way insurance firms would hand over their clients' details to some third party to find better life insurance quotes.

I had someone called Rowan claiming to be from Shaw Cover, or something like Sure Cover, but I can't seem to find any info about them online. They kept asking me weird personal stuff and never really explained where they got my number from. It’s obvious they pulled it from some mortgage list or something. Even after I blocked a few numbers, they just kept ringing from different ones. Proper annoying!
