These calls come through like clockwork every few weeks. I've asked them to remove me from their list, but nothing changes. This number has called me quite a few times before, and unlike lots of others claiming it’s Unite, it’s actually someone named “ACD” pushing extended warranties for kitchen stuff, plus they warn about costly call out fees or having to pay for replacements, though I’ve no clue what exactly that involves. Somehow they got past my call blocker today and left another voicemail. No idea how they managed that. Definitely scammy cold calls as usual, we seriously need to put an end to this rubbish!

This is an insurance firm called UIA (Insurance) Ltd, which gets recommendations from loads of trade unions. Both my landline and mobile only ring if the number is on my approved list. I get to see the caller IDs (unless they’re hidden) and then decide if I want to return the call or not. Most times, I don’t bother. If it was really something important, they’d leave a voicemail.
