Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had a few calls like this where the caller says there’s been a security breach with my IP and my bank info might be at risk. They warn that my internet will be cut off within a day and say to press buttons like 1 or 2 to get more info. My landline is on BT’s do-not-call list, which is the number they keep ringing. I’ve blocked this number plus three others they’ve used before and reported the whole thing to BT as a scam.
