A woman with an Eastern European accent called and asked for a name that wasn’t mine (I tend to give fake names on forms if I think they might be dodgy). When I told her she had the wrong number, she tried to get me to answer some questions anyway! I just said goodbye and ended the call. I try to stay polite - it’s the company behind these calls that’s the real problem, not the person doing the calling who probably thinks they’re just doing their job.

Got a call from this number earlier today. A guy with an Asian accent asked for me by name. I asked who it was and he said he was Joe from Beneficial. When I asked for an address because I told him I planned to complain about getting calls like this, he just said "you want to report this - we are in the Philippines" and then the call dropped.

Beneficial keeps calling me non stop! I've told them loads of times to stop and take my number off their list, but they won't listen at all. I've had to block like 10 different numbers from them but they just keep phoning me from new ones all over the UK. It's proper annoying!
