To top it all off, she offered me a complimentary magazine for my trouble-at least, that’s what I gathered from the oddly worded pitch. Once the call concluded, I promptly blocked that number. Not long after, another call came through from a different number, trying to entice me with the delivery of ten of my preferred magazines for just a pound over the next few weeks.
