This number is just one of about 30 I've had to block this month. It's always the same sort of query, either "Are you on benefits?" or "Do you require a new boiler?" They switch the number they call from all the time. I've now blocked the old ones but they keep coming back. Yeah, I’m on the TPS list and have reported them to Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, and the ICO. (Information Commissioner’s Office) Oddly enough, they haven't called me over the weekend so far.

Got a call from this number, some lady saying she was offering government grants. She was really rude and just cut me off when I asked which organisation she was talking for.

He told me it was like the NEST warm home scheme, which I know is real, but said there’d be no annoying paperwork involved. Honestly, I’m thinking I’ll just give any more calls from him a miss!

I was told this was the consumer energy supplier, sounded really convincing since they knew we have a disabled person at home who qualifies for a boiler upgrade. Near the end I asked if they were connected to the government’s consumer agency, but the answer was very dodgy. So I looked them up and ended up cancelling my appointment. The person on the phone didn’t seem pleased, but when I caught them out I stood my ground. Just a heads up, the caller seems legit at first so please be careful.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the government's consumer service. Fortunately, I was busy at that time and couldn't spare a moment for the call. The caller mentioned that they would try calling me again later. However, when they did call again, I was unable to answer as I had already left. I received a call from an individual who addressed me by my name. He informed me that he had dialled the wrong number and promptly ended the call.
