KLG Ltd and their "Your Tax Return" service are an absolute nightmare! I’m really upset about how everything went down. On the 16th of July, I got a cheque from HMRC saying £800 was paid to KLG Limited. To cut a long story short, a bloke from "Your Tax Return" came into the pub where I worked and convinced me he was from HMRC. Never once did he mention I could claim it myself or that I was actually handing over my cheque to a third-party company. Since then I’ve emailed over 50 times and called them like 30 times leaving voicemails, but still can’t get hold of anyone :(

Me husband 'as been waiting on his refund for about six months now. He's called loads of times and every time they say the cheque's been sent. Today he phoned again and they told 'im he'd already cashed the cheque!!! Proper unreliable and not professional at all. We're gonna take it up with the financial ombudsman to try and get it sorted.

I put in my application back on 31/08/2016 and even after countless calls, as of 25/01/2017, still no money received. I’ve been ringing that number every day for weeks but no one picks up. Hey everyone, just wanted to warn you that these scammers have upped their tactics and are now sending stuff through the post in simple manilla envelopes with a Royal Mail printed franked stamp. They include a form asking you to sign over any tax refund overpayment to them instead of you. This scam is really risky, especially since you end up giving away your National Insurance number - imagine how many other accounts like pensions might be at risk too. Even worse, it looks like an official letter and somehow Royal Mail is involved, making it seem legit. Stay careful!

I rang the number back, but before that I put 141 in front. I reckon I called them about 8 or 9 times. They definitely weren’t happy about it, got pretty annoyed and frustrated. Felt good to give them a bit of their own medicine. I even tried to pitch them a tax rebate deal for a laugh.

They ring me like twice every day. I handle my own taxes, yet they keep blowing up my phone. So now, when I pick up, I tell them to hold on a sec cus I’m really keen, then I just pop to the kitchen for a brew. No matter what, they won’t take my number off their list. Proper annoying!

Really happy with getting my rebate sorted, Kirstyn was super helpful when I called. Sure, they did take a percentage but it’s clearly mentioned on the paperwork. The people in their call centre are just trying to do their job. Cheers, I managed to have an amazing holiday thanks to that rebate.

I work as an accountant so I can tell when someone’s trying to scam you about a tax refund. These calls are dodgy, just ignore them like I did and report the number immediately. Don’t get caught up in it!

I received a rather peculiar call on my mobile from this number. The individual on the line asserted that I had reached out regarding a tax refund, which I definitely hadn't done. Strangely, I had just had a call on my landline moments before from a withheld number, where the same name cropped up. During that conversation, they introduced themselves as being from Microsoft and were supposedly inquiring about my computer. Quite the coincidence, wouldn’t you say?

I've noticed that their mates and relatives often leave positive remarks pretending they're legit, but trust me, they’re all scammers in disguise.
