I've received calls from this number every single weekday for the last fortnight, but since my mobile’s been on silent, I haven’t picked up. Accidentally answered today and the caller asked for me by my full name, which he got right. However, before I confirmed that it was indeed me, I pressed for clarification on who was on the line. He responded with some excuse about it being too loud to hear me and promptly hung up! Even if they are a genuine company (which I sincerely doubt), the lack of professionalism is shocking, and I certainly won't be engaging with them again! The only folks I've shared my number with lately are those persistent street fundraisers for supposed 'charities.' Lesson learned: NEVER AGAIN! Don’t fall for it!

However, today I answered, and it was completely silent on the other end after I said hello a few times. I hung up in confusion and tried to call them back-still no answer! I attempted this once more and, oddly enough, now I'm being told to leave a message as no one seems to be available to take the call. It’s all rather baffling, to be honest!

Today, we answered after they tried ringing again, but there was complete radio silence on the other end. I even tried saying “hello” a few times, but got no response, so eventually, we hung up. Like others have mentioned, I received a call from this number earlier today. When I answered, the individuals on the line claimed to represent some sort of company-though I didn’t quite catch which one-and they said they were acting on behalf of the government. They proceeded to inquire about when I would be receiving my refund. I didn’t really understand what refund they were referring to, but I quickly made my excuses and ended the call. The connection was terrible, filled with a lot of noise in the background, and overall it just felt a bit off!

Today, we received a call from this number, and the callers were trying to sell us house insurance through Sun Alliance. The moment we mentioned that we don’t share our banking details over the phone-especially after having been scammed before-they still persisted in trying to reassure us that it was completely safe. A manager even got involved, attempting to sweet-talk us into complying. After a brief pause, he promised they would send us information through the post. However, as of now, we are yet to receive anything.

Did anyone here used to be with T-Mobile? I was, but back in the day, I worked at a call centre in Swansea, selling mobile phones. We've since switched providers but kept our number. The other day, we received a call from someone claiming to represent T-Mobile regarding our contract. I promptly let them know they weren't affiliated with T-Mobile and hung up. About a year ago, there were reports suggesting that some T-Mobile staff had sold customers' phone numbers-a big scandal back then, if I recall correctly. Ofcom even slapped them with a fine for that.

I keep getting calls from a company called Your Claims, which is apparently linked to PPI claims. Interestingly, a mate of mine mentioned that he had a call from the very same number, only they were masquerading as Lifestyle. Quite suspicious, isn’t it?
