For months now, I've been getting calls from this number nearly every day except Sundays. I've blocked it on my phone so it doesn't even ring, but I see the missed calls when I check the log. It’s clear it's some sort of scam yet, somehow, people keep getting caught out by it. What baffles me is why the phone company doesn’t step in and ban this number. Are they just turning a blind eye because of money, even though loads of folks are getting annoyed and possibly scammed by these annoying calls? It’s just ridiculous.

They switched numbers again, now calling from 01792454180, which is a Swansea code. Before that, it was 001612548621, a number linked to Punjab in India, but they’ve got mates or people involved here too who are up to no good. It’s so frustrating that no one seems able to track them down and take legal action. I bet if it was a politician involved, they’d have busted them ages ago.

Got a call from a very polite woman who said I’d mentioned getting loads of unwanted calls. She claimed they had police approval to help stop them and offered to send me a device for a single payment of £39.99. I told her I couldn’t afford it right now. Just like the person on 23/01/2015 mentioned, you need to sign up via their website before they ring you - that’s probably how they snagged my number.
