its vanquis bank ringing. if youve fallen behind on payments, just give them a ring and sort it out. i was £100 over my limit with a minimum due of £108. i phoned and suggested paying £20 each month till i got below the limit. the woman said they could arrange that and freeze interest and fees. she also mentioned if i could manage half the minimum by the due date, theyd cancel the rest. i went for that. now im under the limit and not getting any extra charges. definitely worth calling them.

lately this number has been ringing me up pretty much every day, sometimes even a couple of times a day. when i pick up, there's just a dial tone before someone asks for a name, usually the wrong one. they've got so persistent that i've stopped picking up at all. i just listen to voicemails later on, and if there's no message left, i simply ignore it and don’t bother calling back.

Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I'm still receiving calls from this bothersome telemarketer. Is it not possible for someone to look into this matter a bit more thoroughly?

I received a call from this number and picked it up, only to have the caller inquire about a particular person. When I confirmed it was indeed me, they abruptly ended the call. Quite frustrating, really! I'd like to find a way to cease all communications from Vanquis completely.

This number incessantly tries to reach my elderly mother, who's 80. The only folks who have her number are family, so when an unknown name pops up, it causes her quite a bit of distress. To make matters worse, the calls come in both early and late, which adds to her worry.
