Someone rang claiming to be from Standard Life saying our life insurance policy was being reviewed. My wife told them she wasn’t the right person and that they needed to speak to me, but I wasn’t around. The caller then got quite pushy, saying things like “you don’t get it” and kept repeating “your policy is under review” over and over until they suddenly hung up. Just like another commenter mentioned back in 2021, steer clear of these calls. It’s obvious a scam since we’ve never had any life insurance with Standard Life.

I’ve just had a rather peculiar phone call from this number. They uttered my first name and then promptly cut the line. When I tried to return the call, I was met with nothing but some annoying hold music. It seems rather suspicious to me-quite likely a scam designed to lure you into ringing back, and at a premium rate no less. I'm planning to notify my phone provider about it, and I highly recommend that others do the same to help get this number dealt with.

When I asked if he was trying to sell me anything, he just hung up. I then rang back and got through to his manager, Gary Richards, who’s in charge of Customer Services at Zen Life. Every time I pick up this number, there’s always really loud music blasting in the background. Occasionally, I catch the caller trying to say something, but when I reply, it’s like they just stop talking completely. Feels like they might have dialled the wrong number or something.

Got a call from some insurance brokers who said they’re fully regulated and compare all the market policies. They were really polite and even sent me an email with all the info. I’m deciding today whether to go with them. Just wanted to say not everyone’s out to annoy, sometimes people are decent - don’t mind the bad reviews too much!
