I’m pretty certain this is a scam. The caller had a strange accent and said they were from BT. When I turned them down, my phone rang almost immediately about ten more times so fast I couldn't even jot down all the different numbers. I ignored them all. The last call came from 01792 396939, which I know isn’t a BT number. Something similar happened to me last week too, and when I checked with BT, they said they never use those numbers and hadn’t tried to contact me.
