I've been receiving calls from all sorts of area codes-I've simply decided to block them. Seriously, don’t engage with them by any means. They tend to leave voicemail messages addressed to a woman (but I'm definitely not female), which is clearly a tactic to draw you into responding.

While I acknowledge that I’ve got a fair bit of outstanding debt with banks and credit cards, it’s worth noting that these issues date back more than seven years, and the financial institutions have since written them off their records. Yet these leeches buy up the old debts for a pittance and then pester you relentlessly, attempting to squeeze you into making some form of payment. Whatever you do, steer clear of paying them any amount, and do not verify your identity or residence.
