Got a call yesterday from some automated voice pretending to be my bank’s security. It was something like “we detected two charges on your account, one £100 to Amazon and another £1000 abroad. Press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak with an agent.” Total scam, for sure. I don’t trust banks at all, I keep all my cash as gold bars hidden under my mattress. Not even sure that number is genuine either since they fake phone numbers all the time these days. Blocking doesn’t help cause they just use hundreds of different ones.

Got a call just yesterday, the voice was all robotic saying something about “this is your bank security team, we've noticed two payments on your account, £100 spent on Amazon and another £1000 sent internationally. Press 1 if you want to cancel, press 2 to speak to our staff.” Total SCAM right there. I don’t trust banks anyway, all my cash is stashed away in gold bars under my mattress. Not even sure if the number’s legit, they’re faking these caller IDs by the thousands nowadays so blocking won’t help, they just come back with loads more.
