Just before this call, I picked up another one from a mobile. The guy asked if I had a moment to chat, but I told him no since I was busy with work. He said it was about life insurance and mentioned someone else might ring me later. I tried to find out what type of policy it was and which company he was representing, but he kept talking over me, didn’t reply to my questions, and then suddenly ended the call. Blocked the number straight away.

after just a few seconds, some guy started on about a life insurance policy. when i mentioned i was busy, he told me he'd have a mate call me later. i just ended up blocking the number.

Watch out for these pesky insurance reviews - seems they’re fishing around for information! They haven’t a clue who you are, as they just have a string of digits like 01792 2133 followed by 24, 25, 26, 27, and so on. Make sure to request that they remove your personal data from their records in accordance with GDPR regulations!

Just a heads up about these calls from ‘unknown number’ that start with an automated message and actually pick up when you speak. Once you reply, they mark your number as live and start bombarding you with calls. They’ve no clue who you are - it’s a phishing scam. They use a bunch of numbers like 01792 2133 with endings like 24, 25, 26, 27 and so on. If you get a call, tell them to erase your info from their system under GDPR rights.

this group keeps ringing me up, saying my provider would’ve told me that they’d call every year or two for an 18 month check-up. but honestly, they know nothing about my policy or who i am, and they can’t even bother to get my name right. it’s so frustrating!

Got a call from 01792 213324 claiming to be from some life insurance review team. The woman called kept going on about reviewing life insurance policies and kept asking if I had one, what kind it was, and if I had a mortgage. When I questioned where she got my info from, she said it was all collected in line with GDPR. I pointed out I never signed up for anything and she just ended the call on me. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

i picked up the call but stayed quiet and then it just disconnected after about 6 seconds or so.
