Might’ve been some kinda crook or just some joke, I dunno. Could be a cheat or a robber for all I care. Didn’t bother answering since I was busy, which is a pity really.

I got a call from some number I didn’t recognise. I answered and then just left my phone on the table. A woman with an accent that wasn’t British talked, and I could catch loads of other voices in the back like she was at one of those call centres. She asked for me by my name, but when I didn’t say anything for about 17 seconds, she just hung up.

i let it go to voicemail but they left a message. turned out it was a fake 0345 number claiming id been picked for some cash prize, telling me to call back to find out more. pretty sure that call back would cost a fortune.
