A bloke named Stephen Howard rang me, wanting to chat about my insurance. Weirdly, he used a name for me that I don't really go by, but he also had my DOB correct. When I asked who he was representing, he claimed to be working with loads of insurance firms like Scottish Widows, Sun Alliance, Royal Insurance and others. I got in touch with my actual insurer, and they told me they don’t call up clients for reviews like that. He mentioned he’d ring me back in about an hour, but I’m still waiting as I write this.

Got a call from a number I don’t recognise. When I picked up, it was just an automated voice saying something like “no agents available to take your call” - didn’t say who it was or anything. Pretty odd.
