Got a call from someone saying they had to check my life insurance because it hadn’t been checked for over a year, and oddly they knew my name! Bit weird since I don’t even have any life insurance - maybe the ex got one hoping I'd kick the bucket! I asked the lady to post me the details and she just hung up straight away. Why do these annoying calls keep coming through? Does anyone keep an eye on this site, like the ombudsman or something?

I received a phone call at 13:50 on the 16th of October, leaving me a message indicating they would get in touch again. The caller purported to be from the Reveal Centre in Swansea. Upon attempting to return the call, I was greeted by an automated message stating they’d call me back and provided an option to press 9 to opt out. Feeling rather uneasy, I decided to hang up without taking any further action. This situation is quite distressing, especially since I’m eagerly anticipating the installation of a Reveal device due to my heart condition.

Got a call from a life insurance firm saying my policy was due for renewal, but ive never had one! The lady on the phone sounded quite nice and said sorry about the confusion - but it felt like classic sales talk trying their luck.
