I felt uneasy about the whole thing, so I decided to ring the number back. A different voice answered, introducing himself as Wynn from Currys and addressing me as 'Mrs Hughes.' I found it highly suspicious that he knew my name - it made me think that maybe this caller was banking on people returning their calls to validate their identity or something. Since that encounter, I’ve poured numerous hours into emailing, calling, and using Webchat with Currys, yet no one seems able to confirm whether this number is indeed associated with their care plans.
