I've gotten a few emails from different firms saying I owe money on unpaid invoices. The company names are not the same but the sender's name on the emails matches. Funny thing is, they all want me to ring this same number they provided.

I picked up and there was just quiet on the other end. Might’ve been a wrong number or something but they didn’t actually hang up. I ended the call myself after a little while.

It’s really worrying how they’ve got my full name, address and postcode. When I said I was going to report her to the police, she just ended the call. Seriously, something needs to be done about these calls, especially to protect vulnerable people.
