I recently received two calls from someone purporting to be from BT, regarding my internet and phone service. The only thing is, I’m not even a BT customer! It gave off a strong whiff of a scam-especially when I started to ask a few questions. The individual on the other end didn’t seem particularly knowledgeable and abruptly hung up when pressed for details. To top it off, the line was a bit fuzzy, and the whole thing reeked of an Indian call centre, with rather substandard audio quality.
