I've been getting loads of calls about Amazon Prime recently. It's usually this recorded message from some American lady. I don't even have Amazon Prime, so I knew right away it was some kind of scam. One of the times, it was a bloke on the other end, so I told him to stop wasting my time and that I knew it was a scam. He tried to argue saying it wasn't, but I just ended the call anyway.

Got a call from some robotic voice with an American accent saying my Amazon Prime subscription is about to charge me £39.99 and to hit 1 if I want to cancel. Not sure if it’s legit or not, need to look up when our Prime actually renews before I do anything.

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and they told me to press 1 for details about my internet getting cut off in 24 hours. I didn’t press anything or reply.
