I suspect this number belongs to a PPI claims agency as the call appeared to be automated. Over the past several months, I've received calls from various PPI firms at least twice a week, so it's become quite predictable. Honestly, the wisest course of action is to simply block the number if you're using an iPhone and save yourself the hassle.

Just after half five this afternoon (15th August 2016), I received a call from someone named "Liam". He mentioned he was representing "Fresh Contacts" and was inquiring about a supposed "bump in the road" that I apparently had. Since I'm not aware of any such issue, I promptly ended the conversation and took to the internet to search the number. I've faced similar calls supposedly from "Fresh Contracts" before and didn't hesitate to toss those aside as well.

Whenever I receive a call from an unknown number that doesn’t provide a name, I simply let it ring out until the caller hangs up.

they sent a text saying to call a different number to stop the calls. seems like a dodgy trick to get you ringing a pricey line. likely a scam for sure.
