01789484283 popped up on my phone and since it’s a local code I figured it might be someone I know. Turns out, it wasn’t at all. Got an automated message from “bank security” saying my card was being used fraudulently and to press 1 if I wanted help. Totally dodgy - I never pressed anything. I’ve blocked the number now, but I’m pretty sure they’ll have another crack from a different phone. Classic scam stuff, isn’t it?
