On the evening of January 31st, 2019, I received a call from someone claiming to be from the BT Regulatory office. They mentioned something about my IP address potentially being altered. The voice was distinctly artificial, almost robotic, which made me rather sceptical. Hence, I decided to disregard the call but made a note of her number for reference.

on the 31st of Jan 2019 i got a call where the person claimed to be from bt's isp regulator. they mentioned something about my ip getting changed soon and told me to hit "1" for details. the voice was obviously some prerecorded american one, so i just ignored it completely.
