It appears that either Equidebt Ltd or one of their associated companies, CAS (which is a subsidiary of Equidebt), have been getting in touch with folks. I've noticed that when you're in the process of settling a debt with them, these chaps often ring up to lure you with a tempting 40% off the remaining amount, provided you cough up in three hefty instalments. It seems to be a tactic they’ve been employing for some time now! Personally, I’d recommend dropping them a line requesting that they only reach out via post - it can become quite bothersome having them on the phone so frequently. This is a routine occurrence with these people.
