We received a call from this number and were met with a rather hasty voicemail that simply stated, "This message is for our name," before abruptly hanging up. It appears that Apex, a conglomerate of companies, is suggesting that we owe a debt to HSBC from some time ago. However, they seem to lack any concrete details about this supposed debt, and frankly, it's not even mine. The only debt we had with HSBC, a CCJ, has been settled, so this whole situation feels utterly pointless. Perhaps these firms should spend their time more wisely instead of pestering us like this! They seem to be peddling dubious software or PRROF debts in the guise of a credit agreement. It’s all rather laughable, really!

I've recently settled into a new rental property and received a call from this number a couple of weeks back. The caller didn’t identify themselves or their organisation, which has left me rather puzzled. Anyone have any suggestions on whether it’s worth giving them a ring back? Cheers, NT.

I've received a fair few missed calls and voicemails from this number while I've been on the job. In my situation, it's connected to a loan managed by Natwest Bank, which Apex was handling. The primary contact number was 0871 244 2780. Hope this information proves useful!

This credit agency has some sort of connection with HSBC.

Debt collectors seem to be the bane of existence, don’t they? I received a jumbled voicemail from one of these firms, and I can’t fathom why they assume we’d be inclined to return their call!

Blimey, these numpties left us yet another utterly daft voicemail! It's absolutely infuriating, especially since I've never owed a penny in my life, nor do I even hold an account with HSBC. At least a couple of times each month, they seem to think it's clever to pester us with calls at around seven or eight in the evening, while I’m blissfully snoozing away! How ridiculous!
