Got a call saying I had to press 1 to confirm a £300 Amazon payment or press 2 to report it, supposedly from ‘your bank’. Total scam, clearly preying on folks who might panic and give away their bank info. It really upsets me, such a nasty trick on vulnerable people. Best advice: don’t pick up and block the number straight away. They’ll probs ring from different numbers, but just be aware and stay safe. Definitely a SCAM call.
