Some older lady acting all posh said I’d called her and was just ringing back. She kept calling me, like at least four times. Proper hassle. Don’t share any details with them, just ignore.

This number rang me up and an automated message claimed to be from Amazon, saying someone was using my account fraudulently for about £1,000. I kept quiet and just ended the call. Later, I tried calling the number back from a different phone, and a woman answered who definitely wasn’t from Amazon.

I wasn’t really able to make out what the caller was saying, their voice was so faint. They mentioned something about my National Insurance number, asked me for my name, then the call just ended abruptly.
