I received a rather unexpected phone call! They hung up just as I was about to pick up.

Received a call claiming to be from Talk Talk, discussing my existing contract with them. Oddly enough, I don’t even use Talk Talk. Seems like another dodgy number to watch out for!

We told them to send a letter with a TalkTalk contact number so we could ring them back, but they just ended the call straight away...

I don’t have TalkTalk as my provider, so I have no clue why they’d be ringing me claiming to be from there. Seems dodgy, probably a scam if you ask me.

Got a call at 9:05 in the morning but didn’t pick up. It only rang about five times and then just stopped with no voicemail or anything.

Answered just long enough to hear three rings, then hung up. Those scammers are now blocked!

never picked up... but kept ringing back again and again. looks like they're linked to a bunch of other numbers pretending to be from places like Leeds, Nottingham, and Edinburgh. pretty sure it's one of those holiday firm scammers based in Spain who buy UK numbers or use office setups that forward the calls overseas.

They claimed to be from TalkTalk, but I’ve never been a customer with them, so how would they even know my number or name? I just hung up and blocked the number straight away. What’s going on with data privacy these days?! It feels like there’s no protection left!
