I got a call from 01788573368 on my mobile and decided not to answer. After seeing all the comments about it, I’m really pleased I didn’t, even though I already knew about the Amazon Prime scams going around.

Got a robo call saying it was Amazon Prime, kept going on about some kind of auto-renewal thing.

I got a call from 01788573368 claiming to be Amazon Prime telling me to press 1 if I wanted to keep my subscription going. Thing is, I’ve never even signed up for Amazon Prime, so I blocked the number right away thinking it was a dodgy scam. Then, I got a call from a different number, 01788541909, with exactly the same spiel. I blocked that one too. Seems like they’re using mobile numbers so they can’t be tracked properly. Honestly, why should we have to put up with this nonsense? The government really needs to step up and do more to catch these scammers.
