Our name's Sean, and we were contacted by someone claiming to be from O2. They mentioned they'd mistakenly overcharged us this week and wanted to sort a refund. However, we expressed our hesitation and indicated we preferred to reach out to O2 directly to confirm any discrepancies on our bill, rather than engage with someone whose identity we couldn't verify. The caller then insisted on connecting us to their manager, but we chose to hang up instead. When we called O2 ourselves, we were informed that nobody had tried to get in touch with us. We're really quite frustrated by this impersonation-thank goodness we had the sense to be cautious!

Indeed, we've received numerous calls (just one of many since acquiring our mobile from Car Phone Warehouse last Saturday). Now, whenever an unknown number pops up, we tend to disregard the call. Back in the day, when this was a trustworthy company, they would leave a message on voicemail instead.
