Got a call from DHL about a parcel delivery - definitely not some spam or scam.

Was out when this number rang me. I checked it using 1471 but it didn’t look familiar, so I didn’t bother calling back. Feels like it’s probably a scam, if you ask me.

Got a call from this number earlier today but it hung up before I could answer.

Today I got a call from 01788535532. I answered saying hello but there was just silence at first. I said hello a second time and then a man with a foreign accent spoke before hanging up straight away. I’m going to block this number, seems like they’ve wasted no time bothering folks already.

Some woman called, said she was from BT and claimed my internet was acting up. She asked me to check my computer. I played along briefly, then mentioned that the British police were listening in on the call. She immediately ended the conversation.
