Got a call from a blocked number but no one spoke when I picked up. Very strange.

got a call from someone claiming to be bt, talking nonsense about our phone line. they wanted me to switch on my laptop, so i played along for a bit, waited a couple mins and then just ended the call. snapped a pic of the number showing on my phone, and right after, they rang again asking why i’d hung up. told them i was just making sure the number was legit, can’t be too careful these days. then put the phone down. since then, they’ve tried ringing me about four more times back to back. sounded like an asian accent. funny thing is, we don’t even have bt as our provider!
