Had a rather persistent chap by the name of James Honeywell ring me up, banging on about cutting down energy costs. He seemed quite keen to figure out my identity, as they'd listed me as the property owner and claimed to have been attempting to reach me for the last few days. Oddly enough, he refused to disclose the name of the individual he was trying to get hold of. Eventually, he just hung up.

01788422384 Got a call claiming to be some government program about lowering bills. The person said he’d called a few times before. He asked if I owned the house, but when I asked for his name or the area he claimed I lived in, he couldn’t say and got pretty annoyed. Then he said if I had questions, he’d put me through to another team, so I waited. But instead, he just began asking me more questions, sounding even more irritated. I told him I wasn’t going to answer anything since he wasn’t answering me, and just hung up.

They ringed me twice. The voice sounded like a bloke, but I reckon it was a robot because the replies were exactly the same when I said different things. It went something like, ‘James from Energy Review here, I’ve been trying to reach you a few times. Are you the homeowner?’ The first time I told them I was at work, and the answer was ‘Alright, that’s fine.’ Next call I told them they hadn’t really tried a few times since I always have my phone on me. Got the same ‘Alright, that’s fine’ and then it just cut off both times.
