So this morning I missed a call, then about 15 minutes later I picked up and some bloke told me they’d turned down a £5,000 loan for me but could supposedly help with ‘bad credit’. I don’t even have bad credit! I told him I’d been in hospital all week and if there’s a loan out there in my name, someone must’ve nicked my identity - I’m really worried. He just kept babbling on about sorting out my ‘bad debt’ like it was no big deal. Didn’t seem to care at all that someone might be using my name fraudulently - pretty rude if you ask me. From what I’ve heard, once these crooks manage to get you on the phone, no matter how you react, they pass your number about to other dodgy companies since they know it’s active. So, best bet is to ignore calls like these completely, or they’ll just keep pestering you forever!
