I answered the call and some bloke said a really drawn-out "Helloooo?", claiming he was "Chris" working for some marketing firm. The line was so crackly I couldn’t quite catch the company name properly. Sounded fishy straight away, so I just blocked the number.

This number called me a bunch of times claiming they were from EE. I’m not even an EE customer, so I knew right away it was a scam. Just don’t share any details with them and hang up straight away.
