She wouldn’t disclose the name of her business and pressed me about whether I had a moment to consider a quote they had supposedly sent my way. The thing is, I never requested any such quote! I said a bit of both really, and he mentioned he was having a whisky and lemonade himself, so he was mixing work and relaxation too. Then he asked if I’d been working from home during the pandemic and if I was still doing that. I just said, “Sorry, not interested, gotta go,” and hung up.
