My answerphone gets bombarded with scam calls pretty much every day, it’s relentless. Whenever I block one number, they simply ring from another. Luckily, I’ve set my landline to ‘do not disturb’ all day, allowing only people on my VIP list to get through. That way, I can deal with those pesky scammers when I have the time. I’d seriously recommend getting a BT 6500 nuisance call blocker like I did - it's made a massive difference and brought some much-needed peace.

I got a call from 01787463232 claiming to be from BT, but the person on the line spoke with a foreign accent. When I said I didn’t trust them, the bloke actually told me off, saying to go fu#k myself and some other rude stuff. Seriously, how do they get away with behaving like that? It's mad.

Had a run-in with a supposed internet problem scammer, and he got proper miffed when I told him to find an actual job instead.

Has anyone else got calls from BT claiming there's an internet issue? Feels like a scam to me... not sure if they're trying to trick people or what. Really suspicious behaviour if you ask me.

I answered the phone but there was no sound at all. After waiting around 10 or 15 seconds, the person just cut the call.
