Got a call from 0113 4199945 claiming to be Eco Solutions. I ended the call right away once I realised it was just a cold call. Tried ringing them back but the voicemail gave an opt-out email address that was impossible to understand. Proper frustrating.

Kept getting lots of calls from an automated system, which I think is against the rules. Loads of silent rings with no message left to say who it was. Eventually I answered and had a chat with someone. The call centre said a name but there’s no website or anything for it. Turns out they were trying to drum up leads for Zenith Home Improvements. If Ofcom or the ICO took a look at this lot, I’m sure they’d get fined big time.

I’m a BT customer and I use their free ‘call protect’ service to block numbers I don't want. All their calls get straight to a junk folder, which is really handy. If you ever want to double-check, you can ring 1572 and have a look through the blocked calls, but honestly they never turn out to be anything legit!

Got a call from this number today, I didn't answer it. No voicemail or anything. I'm registered with the TPS but it really doesn't seem to help at all. I usually get around four calls a day from numbers I don't know, and I just ignore them all. Usually, a couple show a number, one says "Withheld" and another says "Unavailable". My advice: don't answer if you don't know the number. If it's important, they'll leave a message.

Like I said above, when this number rings it shows UNAVAIL and gives you 2 choices, press 5 or 9. Dont press 9, it seems like its a premium rate call. I pressed 5 and it just hung up on me. I reckon they took a copy of my number and rang back on this one. Ive reported this to Hampshire Trading Standards so they can look into it.

Got a call from 01787 388015 earlier but didn’t pick up ’cause it seemed a bit fishy - and turns out I was right. They just dropped the call, but loads of others are saying it’s a pestering number. Even tho my number’s on the TPS list, these calls keep coming through. Just got another one from "Energy Support Centre" trying to peddle new windows. I played along to get some details and they claimed any job they do is done by Everest or Anglia Windows. I seriously doubt well-known firms like these would be linked with dodgy callers - watch out!

i got four recorded calls all about window repairs - ignored the first three - on the fourth i pressed 5 to get a call back to see who was sending these messages - the number was 01797388015 - some pushy bloke claimed he was from the "energy reliance support service" in luton - told him i wasnt interested in getting recorded messages (4 in a single morning!) and said i'd report it to ofcom - he hung up straight away after that

Left my answering machine open and heard loads of noise, sounded like a call centre or something. Took the number from caller ID and phoned it back, it came up as eco money shop. I’m on the TPS list, so I reported it to the Information Commissioner’s Office. They should be looking at that massive £4m+ fine! Got a call late on a Sunday night, about 8pm, from a withheld number with an automated message about some national window recycling thing. Then they rang me back at 5.13pm the next Monday, saying they were from the energy support centre linked to that scheme and claimed they got my number from a national database.
