Got a phone call from someone named “Edward” claiming to be from Microsoft, talking about my computer. He started off asking how I was, and I told him I was alright until he rang me, then I gave him a real piece of my mind. I used to let these calls go on for ages (my record was about 10 minutes), but not anymore, don’t have the patience now.

I've got a call from 01787378739 like 14 times today! I've just been ignoring it up till now, but I'm this close to picking up and telling them exactly what I think. It's so frustrating!

Some bloke called me saying he was George from Microsoft Windows and that there was an issue with my internet. I asked him where exactly he was calling from, he said London. When I asked for the address, he mumbled something I couldn’t catch. I asked again but got told I was 'waiting for this call' or something like that, then he started swearing at me. It was a right mess.

Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent who said her name was Lisa and that she knew my name. She claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to discuss my computer. I told her I'd rather have beans on toast, which clearly confused her. She asked me to say it again, then just hung up. Later, I looked up the number and it appears to be linked to a carpentry business.

Yep, looks like it's just another scam trying to catch people out.

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was with Microsoft. I used to humour these sorts of calls, trying to stall them as long as I could before admitting I was using an Apple Mac. But now, the second I hear “I’m from Microsoft” or “BT Openreach”, I just tell them to buzz off in no uncertain terms. If they dare ring back, they get a loud blast of a referee’s whistle right down the phone. Hopefully, that’s a bit of a headache for whoever’s on the other side.

Kept calling me repeatedly, but as soon as I mentioned I used to be on Bill's team, they just ended the call. Quite odd!

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT about my internet. I told him I don’t have BT and called him out on being a scammer. He hung up straight away.

Some bloke called saying he was from Windows about my computer. I told him straight up I didn't want him messing with it or charging me loads. So I told him to buzz off. Then, outta nowhere, he rings me again just to swear and be rude. Absolutely mental!
