I received a call from someone purporting to be from Amazon Prime, inquiring about my subscription status. When I informed them that I had never signed up for Prime, they seemed quite taken aback. They then proceeded to try and persuade me to start a subscription, but by that point, I had already concluded it was a complete scam-something I later verified directly with Amazon.
