Someone rang me saying they were from Offcom and that my call preference service had expired. They wanted my personal info so they could supposedly update it and block scam calls. When I told them I never share personal details over the phone and would rather do it online if needed, they just hung up. Pretty clear to me it was a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the BT Blocking service, saying I had to do some kind of upgrade. It totally sounded like one of those annoying call centre calls!
