They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel the payment. From what I know though, banks usually block suspicious transactions straight away and then get in touch with you to check if you actually made it. If you say yes, they then let you try again. The person sounded pretty legit, telling me not to give out any details but that the bank's fraud team would ring me within the hour. Not long after, my phone showed an international number calling, which I didn't pick up.
